Saw this a day ago. Wasn’t there when I walked past half an hour earlier, and a tow truck was coming right as I snapped the pic, so I must’ve just missed whatever happened. No other vehicle seemed to be involved.
I’m still wondering what happened. This is a short, low speed section of road between a stop sign and a traffic light.

probably hit the curb at high speed, broke the ball joint or lower control arm, and the strut/wheel/tire flapping around peeled the fender off.

I’d wager stupidity happened. People keep crashing on this one stretch of road near me. It’s flat and straight, you’ve got to be doing something silly.
